Who Qualifies To Get A Bursary Or College Student Loan From NSFAS?



The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has officially opened the 2025 application process.

Applications at the moment are open and will close on fifteen December 2024.

*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding

To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant will have to fulfill the subsequent criteria:

• Be a South African citizen or copyright who arises from a house having a combined gross house earnings that does not exceed R350 000 for each annum.

• People with disabilities qualify if their combined domestic profits would not exceed R600 000 per annum.

• SASSA recipients immediately qualify for funding and wish not submit any proof of earnings.

*** Loan Scheme for the Missing nsfas status check Middle

The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open up to all South African citizens and permanent inhabitants from homes with combined R350 000 and R600 000 per annum.

Applicants are reminded to deliver the proper Id Document numbers, names, and surname, as reflected in their South African ID.

NSFAS only funds people who are finding out or intend to study read more in a public university or TVET college in South Africa.

All students who wish to study in any of the public universities and TVET colleges should apply timeously and not to wait until the last day.

Learners do not have to wait for matric results to apply for NSFAS. They should apply now and avoid delays in the processing of their application.
